BUNTS SANGHA BANGALORE

A dynamic institution built and nurtured by several dedicated leaders, donors and other members of the Sangha from the past five decades. The foundations to its formation was laid in 1958 by a group of 15 persons with Mr. C. L. Nayak as its first President. From a humble beginning with only 31 members, the Sangha now has nearly 10,000 members.

Over the years, the Sangha has experienced a very healthy growth and it can now boast of having implemented important projects such as

Late H Thimmappa Bhandary with Late Radhabai T Bhandary

The greatest impetus for the growth of the Sangha was given by the Late H. T. Bhandary and family, having donated nearly 3 acres of land to the Sangha. Mr. R. N. Shetty, Dr. B. R. Shetty, Mr. Prakash Shetty and many others have been generous in contributing for the Sangha projects.

Mr.Srinivas Alva

The Sangha has experienced maximum growth during the term of Mr. Srinivas Alva as the President, with involvement of the larger section of the community in the construction of the RTB Auditorium and in other activities.
